Yoogera (CityCat 22) was designed and built at Aus Ships Group’s shipyard facility just 15 minutes East of the Brisbane CBD in Murrarie.

The cabin is designed to allow natural light to fill the space. Large windows offer unobstructed panoramic views as the vessel travels up and down the Brisbane River.

The design and styling is light and modern, while offering durability that is fit for purpose. Advanced aluminium honeycomb panels have been used for parts of the internal fitout to save weight while still providing strength where needed.

The vessel can carry 170 passengers and includes assigned accessible seating areas for 6 passengers in wheelchairs.

Innovations such as waist-high mooring bollards allow for the vessel to be berthed with the boarding gate closed meaning improved safety for the crew. As a result, this also reduces the physical strain involved with the tying up of the vessel.
