Yasawa Princess II

With many years of partnership between South Sea Cruises Group and Aus Ships Group, which has provided consistent delivery, technical excellence, and deep operational understanding, Aus Ships Group was commissioned to design and complete a comprehensive refit of Yasawa Princess II, a 45m boutique short-stay cruise ship.

Having been previously based in the Whitsundays and subsequently sold to South Sea Cruises Group, the brief was to carry out a major customisation of the interior fit-out, hull modifications including the addition of wave-piercing bows, new external livery and appearance, and the design and build of two new purpose-built customised tenders, Vonu I & II.

Accommodating 44 passengers in 22 cabins, Yasawa Princess II will operate under the Blue Lagoon Cruises brand, offering boutique 3-, 4-, and 7-night itineraries through the Fiji Islands. Delivered in February 2026 and with extensive forward bookings secured ahead of its April 2026 launch, the vessel marks an exciting new chapter for Blue Lagoon Cruises.
